Using Shopping Cart

Shopping cart allows you to buy from multiple sellers. Shopping cart software allows the buyer to keep track of what products he/she has selected so far for purchase. The shopping cart software will ask for a buyer's shipping address to make sure the orders placed are delivered to exactly where the buyer specified. The shopping cart software also helps the seller to keep track of multiple orders as well as allows to view all buyer's purchases. Most of the times, a shopping cart is also linked to an online inventory so that the seller can check on the product availability. The shopping cart software makes the buying and selling process less stressful and more fun. To put the product in your FairFromHome shopping cart to purchase later, click the Add to cart button; Please note: all products that you added to your shopping cart will be still available to other buyers for purchase until you pay for them. To pay for the product in your shopping cart, to secure your purchase: on the next pop up page, click the Proceed checkout button, Review your purchase information, and then click Checkout button and on the next page select your payment method and proceed with the payment to pay for the product you are buying. You can also checkout your product by clicking on the shopping cart icon at the navigation menu at the top right of any page. After you compete the payment, the product you bought will be removed from general view immediately and your order will be placed. Seller will start processing your order within timeframes specified in the product listing terms.

Searching For product

Take advantage of Search by a range of Min and Max price, by product Category, title, description, Search by Seller to narrow down your search.

Now That You’ve Found a product

Read the product Description carefully. Check the condition and take note of any unique claims about the product. Be sure you understand details about shipping options and payment methods. Read the Seller’s Feedback by clicking on the Seller’s username near the top right of the product details page. Do your research about the product you plan to buy by using other online resources. You can contact the seller using FairFromHome web mail service and send your message to the seller. Once seller replies, a copy of the reply message will be sent to your email client account address and you can reply to it using your FairFromHome account web mail inbox. Any communication between you and a seller will be sent to your email client account you have registered on FairFromHome.

Are You Ready To Buy?

You can use "Add To Cart" button to make your purchase. Be sure to check the quantity, shipping and any terms of the product listing. To put the product in your FairFromHome shopping cart to purchase later, click the Add to cart button. Please note: all products that you added to your shopping cart will be still available to other buyers for purchase until you pay for them. To pay for the product in your shopping cart, to secure your purchase click Pay This Seller button and on the next page select your payment method and proceed with the payment to pay for the product you are buying. After you compete the payment the product you bought will be removed from general view immediately and your order will be placed. Seller will process your order within timeframes specified in the product listing terms.

Seller's Checklist

Selling on FairFromHome is absolutely Free

There are no listing fees or final fees or any other fees that sellers will have to pay to sell their products on FairFromHome. So sellers can keep their profits while buyers get their bargains. To set up a seller account on FairFromHome you need to contact FairFromHome site administrator. From “My stuff” menu at the top right bar select “Sold” option and you will be prompted to the FairFromHome administration request page from where you can send a message to the site administrator with your request to start selling on FairFromHome. After the information is reviewed you will receive a response from the FairFromHome site administrator about the status of your request. If the request is approved, you will need to complete your User profile to start selling on FairFromHome.

Create a product listing

To start Selling on FairFromHome you should first create your Store from your Account section. After your store is created you can create your products. Product can be marked as Active or Inactive; “Active” products can be searched in general view and are visible to all FairFromHome users in the search results; the products that are marked as “Inactive” are not visible to FairFromHome users and cannot be searched in general view We recommend that you know the rules for sellers and FairFromHome policies on restricted and prohibited products, and what's allowed and not allowed when listing and completing your sale on FairFromHome.

Manage your listing

After you list your products on FairFromHome, you can check to see if anyone's bought your products by going to the Sold link in the Sell section of FairFromHome. You can also Edit, Sell similar, Delete or make your listings Active or Inactive in a bulk update. Be sure to use a good customer service practices and reply to all and any questions or requests you receive from your potential buyers in timely manner. Email notifications will be sent to you on all the updates about your selling and offer activities, as well as any inquiries from the existing and potential buyers. Please be sure to checkout all the features offered in the product listing.

Complete the sale with your buyer

You will receive a notification after buyer completes the checkout. Before you ship your product, make sure the buyer's payment has cleared. If you agreed to accept a check, make sure the check has cleared the bank account. After payment is received the payment start getting your product ready for shipment, provide a secure adequate packing to assure safe arrival. Communicate with your buyer about shipping time frames and provide tracking after you have it; Make sure the shipment information is correct and includes your return address. You can create your shipping label and packing slip on pay pal or Get Buyers address information from the Order details on FairFromHome.
